Has your home suffered a fire?

The first thing you need to worry about is the safety and security of your family. Once that has been completed you should contact your insurance carrier to start the claims process.
Once the home has been secured the insurance company will most likely send out a "cause and origin" expert. This persons job is to determine the cause of the fire. This investigation is done so that the carrier may determine if there is a third party responsible for the fire, ie; battery explosion, faulty equipment, etc.

The insurance company will ask that the are of origin not be disturbed. During our board up or tarping process we are certain to not destroy any areas of concern to the investigator.
Once this has been completed the assigned adjuster will come out and inspect the property. We can assist the adjuster with this by providing lighting or removing boards from windows or doors to make access easier.
