đ„ Insurance Restoration Project Completed đ„
Here is another insurance restoration project we recently finished up which followed a devastating fire at the neighboring property, which was ultimately torn down. While the fire was active, the fire company had to break through multiple windows of this home to ensure there was no fire spread inside.
Fortunately, the damage to this home was limited. It included broken windows, smoke and soot residue, exterior soffit damage, and fire-related damage to one side of the roofâwhich we completely replaced.
Inside the home, the attic required a full rebuild. All plaster was removed due to smoke exposure, and the space was reconstructed with all new insulation, electrical, drywall, and paint to create a brand-new interior.
To fully restore functionality, we installed a kitchen on each side of the home, honoring the homeownerâs request to use butcher blockâstyle countertops while reusing their vintage white enameled cast iron sink with a double drainboard design, preserving the homeâs unique character.
Both bathrooms were included in the restoration as well. One bathroom was a full gut renovation with a new corner shower, while the master bathroom received updated tile on the tub surround wall and on floor.
What truly sets this property apart is its two-sided layout, creating an almost haunted-mansion feelâonce inside, itâs easy to forget where you are and become immersed in the atmosphere of the home.
đ Another insurance restoration completed, bringing a home back to life after the unexpected.
We highly recommend Brian at Pocono Restorations to anyone looking for a contractor. Brianâs vision, Patrickâs craftsmanship and attention to detail, and Mattâs thinking outside the box made the repairs and improvements to our home better than we could have ever imagined.
